Eight years ago, Phil Shao (a Nor-Cal skateboarding legend) was killed in a car accident. For those of you old enough to remember him, you know how much his loss weighed in the skateboard community. For those of you that are younger, check out this video on Youtube.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been so long. RIP, man.

Ya gotta love seeing a well respected local on national TV… oh yeah, he just won another first place finish out in Texas, by the way. If I had twice his talent, I still wouldn’t be as good as he is.
