Josh Ew Uhh, Dead Gregory and I went over to Fast Lane Skatepark last night and pretty much beat ourselves senseless… we saw and skated with Steven from Humidity Skate Shop in NOLA, as well as Aminal Shawn (who also filmed everything for us… thanks again, brotha).
We had a great time, and we highly recommend going there. Just make sure you watch out for bikes, but also note that the bikers that are over there are some of the nicest cats we met. Here’s the footy:
As you already know, the Bacon Skateboards demo is coming up very soon… due to the nature of the tour that the guys are on (road trip), I don’t have an exact time to give you. As soon as I know, you’ll know. In the meantime, check out Benji Galloway (one of the main rippers who will be visiting with us).

Terry just sent me his new commercial for Fuel TV (shot in New York)… there’s no other way to say this… it’s awesome. Most commercials that feature anything bike or skate related tend to come across as cheesy to me, but this was done right. The filming, the atmosphere and the riding just fit perfect. You gotta love underdogs… unknown German ripper Alex Mizurov wound up working his way through both ams and pros, eventually beating Chris Cole and taking home $10,000 in the eS Game of Skate 2006.
Props and a ham sandwich to Dwight for finding a sick highlight video of the event (and eventual win) here, no props and a bologna taco for me for finding a crappier (though longer) version of the same event here.
