Contributions Update
Big Mike’s family is backing the idea of the shop collecting funds for the behalf of the family… we’re working in the background right now trying to come up with several ways in which the community can donate to the cause… by today, we should have a PayPal account, as well as a way for people to donate through other means. We’ll post a public tally of how much has been received, for one, so you’ll know how the campaign is doing, and two, to entice others to contribute to the memory of a fallen brother.
Special thanks to Deluxe Distribution (Anti Hero, Krooked, Real, etc) for an offering of help in which we still have to hammer out details, and more special thanks to my good friend Clarkie for adding our friend Mike to Team Valhalla, where Mike joins the ranks of other legends of the world of skateboarding that have taken the voyage on to eternity.
There’s been a lot of love shared by the skate community because of the events that we’re all reeling from, and we’re grateful for all of the brother and sister hood that truly is the core of the skate community. Much love, everybody. More details on how you can contribute later on!

Maybe a local skate comp is in order.
A benefit BBQ/Contest at the park.
We could get the city involved and go about it the right way.

No words can express how thankful I am to everyone’s thoughts and prayers. Michael was one of those special people who could make friends so quickly. He had a way about him that put you immediately at ease. I always said that if you could count your true friends on 1 hand, you were a lucky person, and he would say he must be the luckiest person in the world, because he had hundreds of friends. I believe him. He certainly was my best friend. Mikey . . . I love and miss you so much.

I’m really going to miss Mikey reaching over my head and getting those really nice beads that I wanted during the Southdowns and Spanishtown Mardi Gras parades. Not to mention He was always happy to see you no matter how long it had been since he had last seen you. Darlene, Eric, Tony, & Kyle our prayers are with you all. Love from Dawn, Greg, & Krists
