Because it is fun and I did not realize how much I missed it, until I had back surgey and did not know what I would be able to do. Hooked again, this time till I can’t walk, even if work and kids keep from skating as much as I would like.

I skate because after I moved to LA, it was the only thing keeping me sane.
I wanted to quit, b/c there were no spots, but a couple days later I met Kerry and he basically kicked my ass with words and made sure I kept skateing.
B/c of Smalltime, even when money was tight, I always had a board and a place to skate.
if i don’t skate, my body gets these weird pains that seem to magically go away when i am skating, so i might as well keep rolling, fast, right? yeah, sick.
